I think part of our readers know Swedish band AMON AMARTH. A member of this collective Fredrik Andersson formed a project named CURRICILUM MORTIS. So, "Mortis" is "Mortis" and group plays death metal. Band also features Mattias Leinikka (GUIDANCE OF SIN) and Leo Pignon, which is bandmate of Andersson in A CANOROUS QUINTET. Though I'm not fan of death metal, this demo has falled deep in my heart! Listening to it you feel, that musicians are not "boys". So, dive "into death". The best track of 21 min. work is Wall Of Ice. It's not pure death metal, I'd determine style as doom/death. Also Wall Of Ice makes third part of whole demo! Exact death metal composition is Into Death, all other includes interesting acoustic guitar cuts or wonderful solos. Another powerful composition is Frail. It was composed for A CANOUROS QUINTET five or so years ago, but was never released.
   As resume I'll take words from official press-release: "The music of CURRICULUM MORTIS will surprise any listener with its unique riffs, the mix of brutality and harmonies and excellent musicianship.". And that's 100% truth!
