Many metal bands from Russia sing in English, surprisingly in Finland was created the band, which plays doom metal and sings in Russian! Band title is short but strong - KYPCK (in this way to write, and "KURSK" to pronounce). Lyrics is written by the band's vocalist, who learned and worked in St.Petersburg for a while. When I've heard, that Erkki sings almost without accent, I've contacted him to do the interview for The MetalList.

ONE MAN ARMY AND THE UNDEAD QUARTET, the Swedish band featuring former THE CROWN vocalist Johan Lindstrand, is putting the finishing touches on its third album, "Grim Tales", due October/November via Nuclear Blast Records. The CD was recorded at the Black Lounge Studios in Avesta, Sweden with producer Jonas Kjellgren (SCAR SYMMETRY).
Commented Lindstrand: "The mixing is almost done. I've heard 5-6 tracks and it has completely blown my mind. It's a very well-produced death metal album to say the least. It's the most massive production I've been involved with during my entire life and I've done a couple of albums throughout the years. Everyone's happy with their own work. All from songwriting to performance so we can't wait to play this for you and then finally get on the road and start with some serious action together with you."

Vocalist ZP Theart added, "There isn't much to change, but yet there is. The last three albums have been very much guitar-orientated, and this one probably will be as well, but I want to try to do some extra coloring in with the vocals."
Norway's ULVER has posted a cover version of PRINCE's "Thieves in the Temple" on its official MySpace page. "Thieves in the Temple" was originally released on PRINCE's 1990 "Graffiti Bridge" album, with the song hitting No. 6 on the U.S. single chart.
For the cover, ULVER collaborated with female soul singer and WYCLEF JEAN protégée Siri Stranger. The boys downplay their own participation and relation to Prince with the following statement: "Prince is not our familiar, but we appreciate his spirituality and sensibility, manifest in this song. We are thieves in his temple."
Their song is part of a massive 81-track, five-CD tribute titled "Shockadelica: 50th Anniversary Tribute To The Artist Known As Prince" (C+C Records).
