In most cases, demos and promo-versions of upcoming albums are coming to our webzine, rather than official versions of full-length CDs. It is normal that young bands send their domo-CDs to webzines and to other music press. So, this time I’ve got many demos and promos, frankly saying among these 5 CDs, 2 disks will be worth listening and only one may be rather interesting and may even please the listener. And this time demo of DZ PROJECT turned out to be this single CD.
Music is very manifold; the style of the band can be categorized under such heading: art-progressive heavy metal. I need to mark that in musical aspect had absorbed all the best tendencies of metal music since the end of 80-s till present time. Here, you can find heavy, power and trash elements with synthesizer insets and synthetic voices, also progressive metal drums (reminds DREAM THEATRE) can be heard hear. At one moment the music gets faster and faster, at another is slows down to virtuoso progressive-rock\'s solos, even with some jazz motives.
The technique of playing is at high level, guitar sound is very good. The sounding of drums is great, in the best manner of progressive metal. The keyboards are also very good. But still I have to mark the quality of recording – it is not very good, it is a bit damped down.
In the whole, I advise this band to everybody, it is really worth listening. It’s a pity that this edition is limited and it is near to impossible to find it. But I think we shall be able to place some samples of song on our webzine.
