ANARION The Journey Begins...

Observing the frontcover with the familiar cinema bill ring and seing the album name of course gave us an easy to come conclusion we are dealing with Tolkien's fonders. Lord Of The Rings put to large screens increasing that never ending interest. ANARION was formed in 1999 in Australia, a nice place for LOTR - a continent country. And here one can find a big bunch of saga lovers playing heavy/power (they must be elves) or playing black metal (they must be on dark side). ANARION stands for elves then. The band is not piled with excessive keyboards and peak vocals (hobbit with kicked buckets). The guitar sound is quite heavy and thick and vocals by Ricardo Mekka are fit. It's a decent debut for 19-20 years aged musicians. In case they gonna follow the saga line by line we can expect at least two more albums and the new one is estimated complete this year already.

Scorpio 7/10
