CD-Maximum is doing a big deal of licensing and still don't forget to release native bands. Not all of them are newcomers, I suppose KOMA is famous enough. Let me introduce their latest work. 9 tracks, 36 minutes, 14 seconds. The album starts with a potential hit "Diagnosis - Death" dedicated to friends who were too early to leave this world. Heavy metal with thrashy guitars and violin background. The next song, called Shakh, welcomes us with thrash blues, vocals of Alexander Gudvin is accompanied with session female voice of Maria Doroshenko and Vladimir manuilov on sax. The next slow track resounds with heavy thrash riffs with entwined melodic guitar. Then we hear Orient tune followed by aggressive song and newsblock Afganistan section. Well, and so on. All songs are well-shaped and pro-done. Sometimes Koma is extreme sometimes rather than melodic. One would compare them to ARIA but that's not exactly true again. They are original and heavy enough to be recognized as Koma. A nice work to be appreciated by thrash metal fans.
