SLAYER Announce 'Reign In Blood' 40th-Anniversary Latin American Tour

SLAYER have announced a fall 2026 Latin American tour performing "Reign In Blood" in its entirety to mark the album's 40th anniversary. Released in October 1986, "Reign In Blood" remains arguably the most influential and relentlessly aggressive album in thrash metal history — 29 minutes of pure, distilled brutality that changed what metal could be and set a standard that nothing has fully matched since.

The Latin American run opens December 5 in Bogotá, Colombia and continues through South America before closing in São Paulo, Brazil on December 17. German thrash legends KREATOR will provide support across the South American dates, alongside local heavyweights Avernal (Chile) and Criminal (Argentina) at select shows. Brazilian thrash institution KORZUS opens the São Paulo date.

Additionally, SLAYER will perform the album in full at three U.S. headline shows. The first comes September 4 in Shakopee, Minnesota with DOWN, SUICIDAL TENDENCIES, and HATEBREED. November brings two nights at Kia Forum in Inglewood, California — their first Los Angeles-area shows in seven years — with CANNIBAL CORPSE, CAVALERA, and CROWBAR in support.

Full Latin American dates:

  • Dec. 5 — Bogotá, Colombia (Vive Claro) w/ KREATOR, ULTRA LEGENDS
  • Dec. 10 — Santiago, Chile (Estadio Santa Laura) w/ KREATOR, Avernal
  • Dec. 14 — Buenos Aires, Argentina (Movistar Arena) w/ KREATOR, Criminal
  • Dec. 17 — São Paulo, Brazil (Allianz Parque) w/ KREATOR, KORZUS

The current SLAYER lineup — Kerry King (guitar), Tom Araya (bass/vocals), Paul Bostaph (drums), and Gary Holt (guitar) — has been active since their 2024 reunion. Forty years after one of the heaviest records ever committed to tape, SLAYER remain one of the most powerful forces in metal.
