AGUA DE ANNIQUE is a Dutch alternative rock band from Amsterdam, formed in 2007 by vocalist Anneke van Giersbergen after leaving THE GATHERING. Her project explores a more intimate, acoustic-tinged alternative rock sound far removed from her previous atmospheric metal work. The project brought van Giersbergen's voice to a wider audience outside the metal world.
