AMORPHIS

AMORPHIS is a Finnish metal institution from Helsinki, founded in 1990. What began as a raw death/doom metal act evolved into one of the world's foremost melodic metal bands, their sound enriched by deep immersion in Finnish mythology, the Kalevala epic, and elemental themes of life and loss. Across more than a dozen albums on labels including Relapse, Nuclear Blast, and Reigning Phoenix Music, they have consistently reinvented themselves without abandoning their roots. With vocalist Tomi Joutsen at the helm since 2005, AMORPHIS continue to create landmark metal albums that resonate far beyond their homeland.
