ATOMKRAFT

ATOMKRAFT are a British NWOBHM and speed metal band from Newcastle upon Tyne, formed in 1979. Pioneers of the pre-thrash speed metal sound in Britain, they were among the fastest and most aggressive acts to emerge from the New Wave of British Heavy Metal, pushing tempos to extremes that anticipated the thrash explosion. After years of inactivity they have returned to the live circuit, reminding audiences of their foundational role in extreme metal's prehistory. The band is currently on hold.
