AYREON

AYREON is the ambitious progressive metal and rock opera project of Dutch multi-instrumentalist Arjen Anthony Lucassen, based in Waalwijk, created in 1994. Each AYREON album is an elaborate concept piece — a science fiction or fantasy epic — performed by a rotating cast of renowned vocalists and musicians from across the metal and progressive rock world. Themes of space, science fiction, time, and human emotion run through their monumental discography. Signed to Music Theories Recordings, AYREON remain the pinnacle of the rock opera and progressive metal concept album tradition.
