BLACK STARS

BLACK STARS were formed in Milan, Italy, in June 2022 by guitarist Max Adams, a former member of Love Machine who left that band for the second time after nearly three decades. By July 2022 the lineup was complete: vocalist Tony Pecere (ex-Crimson Dawn, Betoken), guitarist and keyboardist Alberto "Wolfie" Presotto (ex-Opera Noire, Sakem), bassist Walter Soresina (ex-Crossbones, Fuckin' Jam), keyboardist Gianluca "Giangio" Manzini (ex-King Lizard), and drummer Carlos Cantatore, previously live drummer for Annihilator. Drummer Folkert Beukers — known for his work with Adam Bomb and Chris Holmes (W.A.S.P.) — briefly held the drum seat before departing. Drawing from the classic Heavy Metal and Hard Rock of the 1980s and 1990s, BLACK STARS craft original material steeped in the sounds of that golden era.
