CHARNEL CROWN

Groove Metal
Dublin, Ireland Formed in 2025

CHARNEL CROWN are a Dublin-based groove metal outfit formed in December 2025, comprised of four dedicated, working-class musicians united by a shared passion for heavy music. The band deliver uncompromising, riff-driven metal rooted in authenticity rather than reinvention — their sound built on groove, intensity, and raw honesty, fusing muscular rhythms with modern precision to create music that speaks directly to the heart of the genre. Vocalist Dean Donnelly, guitarist Stephen "Stitch" Egan, bassist Spencer O'Brien, and drummer Adam S. bring a collective depth of experience that punches well above the band's short timeline.

Although CHARNEL CROWN are a new name, the experience within the ranks runs deep. Collectively the band have performed extensively across Ireland, sharing stages and securing direct support slots with a diverse range of international acts including XENTRIX, CHELSEA GRIN, AVATAR, FOZZY, JINJER, and EVIL SCARECROW. This live pedigree is reflected in their tight, hard-hitting sound and no-frills approach — metal made by working-class fans, for working-class fans.

Emerging from Dublin's underground metal scene with a clear sense of purpose and identity, CHARNEL CROWN released their debut single "People Like You" in May 2026, followed by their debut EP "Such Is Life" in summer 2026. No gimmicks, no pretence — just heavy music delivered with conviction. CHARNEL CROWN are only getting started.
