DAWN OF DEFIANCE

DAWN OF DEFIANCE were a Uruguayan thrash/death metal band from Montevideo, formed in 2001. One of the few Uruguayan acts to gain any international underground recognition, they channeled anger, darkness, and violence into aggressive, raw extreme metal. The band split up, leaving a small body of work that documents the determination of South America's most overlooked metal scenes.
