DIONYSUS were a Swedish power metal band from Bålsta, active from 1999 to 2008. Featuring vocalist Olaf Hayer and guitarist Mats Valentin, they crafted melodic, keyboard-enriched power metal with themes of freedom, life, battles, and time. Released on AFM Records, their two acclaimed albums earned them a devoted following among European power metal fans before their dissolution in 2008.
