Beginning with atmospheric, winter-infused black metal, they evolved toward a more melodic and gothic-influenced sound, exploring sorrow, love, and existential themes. Their albums on Cacophonous and Nuclear Blast documented a brief but distinguished career before their dissolution in 2001.
