DRAGONFORCE are a British power metal band from London, formed in 2001. Known worldwide for their hyper-speed, virtuosic guitar work — especially the twin lead guitars of Herman Li and Sam Totman — and their jubilantly escapist anthems about fantasy battles, inner strength, and video games, they became one of the most recognizable power metal acts in the world after "Through the Fire and Flames" appeared in Guitar Hero III. Signed to Napalm Records, DRAGONFORCE remain active, continuing their assault of fast, melodic power metal.
