Estatic Fear

ESTATIC FEAR was an Austrian symphonic doom metal band formed in 1994. Drawing on romantic and decadent 19th-century aesthetics, they combined ultra-slow, melancholic doom metal riffs with lush orchestrations, female operatic vocals, and acoustic passages of rare beauty. Their two albums — "A Sombre Dance" and "Somnium Obmutum" — are considered masterpieces of the atmospheric doom metal genre.
