KRALLICE

Avant-garde Black Metal
New York, 🇺🇸United States Formed in 2007

KRALLICE is an avant-garde black metal band from New York City, formed in 2007 by guitarists Colin Marston (GORGUTS, DYSRHYTHMIA, BEHOLD... THE ARCTOPUS) and Mick Barr (ORTHRELM), joined by bassist/vocalist Nicholas McMaster and drummer Lev Weinstein (both also of GERYON).

The band debuted in 2008 with the self-titled Krallice on Profound Lore, following it with Dimensional Bleedthrough (2009) and Diotima (2011) before shifting to self-releasing most of their catalogue, typically as surprise Bandcamp drops recorded at Marston's Menegroth studio. Known for dense, hyper-technical tremolo architecture and long-form compositions, KRALLICE have become one of the most prolific and uncompromising forces in American black metal, with a discography spanning Years Past Matter (2012), Ygg Huur (2015), Mass Cathexis (2020), Crystalline Exhaustion (2022), Porous Resonance Abyss (2023) and Inorganic Rites (2024), among many others.
