Lethe (Norway/Switzerland)

LETHE is the Swiss/Norwegian duo of Anna Murphy (CELLAR DARLING, ex-ELUVEITIE) on vocals and programming and Tor-Helge Skei (MANES, MANII) on everything else, formed in 2012 and named after one of the rivers of Hades. The pair built the project as a space with "no rules, no expectations, no compromises," moving between dark rock, pop, trip hop, electronics and metal, with lyrics drawn from dreams and nightmares, paranoia and inner darkness. After the 2013 single "Come Look at the Darkness with Me," the duo released "When Dreams Become Nightmares" (2014) on Debemur Morti Productions, "The First Corpse on the Moon" (2017) on My Kingdom Music and "Alienation" (2024) on Dark Essence Records.
