MENTAL DISSECTION is a russian death metal band from Krasnodar, formed in 1994. One of the bands that brought death metal to the southern regions of russia, they were among the first acts that came to mind when discussing russian death metal in the early 2000s. Their music delivered straightforward brutal death metal rooted in the American and European death metal tradition.
