MESHUGGAH

MESHUGGAH are a Swedish technical groove/thrash and djent metal band from Umeå, formed in 1987. Among the most technically innovative and musically radical metal bands in history, their development of polyrhythmic, down-tuned eight-string guitar riffing effectively created the djent genre and influenced an entire generation of technically minded metal musicians. Albums like "Destroy Erase Improve", "Chaosphere", "Nothing", and "Catch Thirtythree" are landmark progressive extreme metal recordings. Signed to Reigning Phoenix Music, MESHUGGAH remain one of metal's most challenging and important acts.
