SCALD

SCALD are a russian epic doom metal band from Yaroslavl, formed in 1993. One of the most respected doom metal acts in russian metal history, their sole album "Will of the Gods Is Great Power" is regarded as a masterpiece of epic doom metal, drawing on Scandinavian and Slavic mythology. The tragic death of vocalist Agyl cut short their promise, but the album remains one of the most significant records in the russian metal underground. Released on High Roller Records, their legacy endures.
