SCARTOWN is a russian melodic death metal and metalcore band formed in 2005. Combining the melodic hooks of death metal with metalcore energy, they contributed to the russian melodic extreme metal scene before disbanding in 2012. Their music reflected the cross-genre influences popular in russian extreme metal during the late 2000s.
