SOCIAL DEFORMITY is a russian industrial death metal and grindcore band formed in 2001. Combining industrial death metal with grindcore ferocity, they contributed to the russian extreme metal underground before changing their name. Their music reflects the industrial and extreme metal crossover that was emerging in russian underground circles in the early 2000s.
