STORMHAMMER

Started life billed as Lizard, not to be confused with the other German Southern Rock-style act of the same name. They changed their name to S.P.Q.R. and released the 3-song demo tape "Metal Rendezvouz" (all 3 tracks later being re-recorded for the StormHammer "Fireball" debut album). They had then briefly gone by the name Steamhammer, but encountered confusion with the '70s band that went by that moniker. Finally, the more "metal" Stormhammer was decided upon.
