TUMULUS

TUMULUS (russia) was a progressive folk metal band from Yaroslavl, russia, formed in 1997. Drawing on old Slavic enchantment and folkloric themes, they blended metal heaviness with acoustic folk textures in a distinctly atmospheric way. The band had close ties to the legendary SCALD, sharing members and carrying forward the spirit of Yaroslavl's unique underground metal scene.
