VLE is an American doom, black metal, and dark ambient project from New York, formed in 2001. Operating as an independent venture into darkness and silence, VLE crafts slow, oppressive soundscapes blending doom metal weight with black metal atmosphere and ambient minimalism. The project has maintained a consistently underground profile throughout its existence.
