DEF LEPPARD

According to the official DEF LEPPARD website, the band's new covers album titled Yeah will be released in March-April 2006 and is nothing short of a tribute to the musical heroes of their youth. This release could also play an ambiguous role for Picking on Deaf Leppard — an album that is, in turn, a tribute to DEF LEPPARD themselves by the young band CORNBREAD RED. The music featured on this release is a far-from-ordinary compilation of cover versions: all tracks have been reworked and recorded in a bluegrass style (traditional Scottish-Irish music) using banjo, mandolin, domra, and guitar. Listeners will thus have a rare opportunity to hear the band's classic material from an entirely new perspective.
