First live DVD LEAVES EYES on the Viking ship

For the recording to their first live DVD at Metal Female Voices Festival, LEAVESґEYES had a very special idea. Instead of playing on a regular stage, they have opted to build a 10-meter long Viking ship, in accordance to the theme of Vinland Saga & Legend Land. On this ship, the band will perform their live-show.

MESHUGGAH released their debut full-length album "Contradictions Collapse," introducing the world to a band that would fundamentally reshape extreme metal. The Swedish group's first album already showcased the polyrhythmic complexity and mathematical precision that would become their trademark. Jens Kidman's aggressive vocals and Fredrik Thordendal's jazz-influenced guitar work created a sound unlike anything else in metal at the time. While the album was more straightforward thrash than their later work, the seeds of their revolutionary approach to rhythm were clearly planted. "Contradictions Collapse" marked the beginning of one of the most influential careers in modern metal history.
