RASHAMBA will soon begin recording their first full-length album, which, according to the musicians themselves, is planned for release at the end of 2007. In the meantime, to help fans pass the time, the band is releasing the single "Mir Ostalsya Zhdat" ("The World Kept Waiting"). The disc was released on the Kap-Kan Records label. This is the band's second release on the label.

The single's presentation took place on September 1 at the Port club in saint petersburg. In addition to the title track, the disc also features the new live song "Nezhnee Smerti" ("Gentler Than Death"), which fans may have previously heard at the band's concerts. Both new songs will appear on the upcoming album. The disc also contains three tracks from the band's first release — the EP "Rasstoyaniya" ("Distances") — performed live.

According to the members of RASHAMBA, even now, with some of the new songs completed and others still in the works, it is safe to say the album will feature heavier, more diverse, and more technically accomplished material. Work on the album has already begun, and between sessions RASHAMBA will treat their fans to concerts in various cities. Keep an eye on the tour schedule on the official website.

While the album is being prepared for release, the debut music video for the song "Ryadom s Solntsem" ("Next to the Sun") is already in the editing stage, with the band's friends at Mindscapes handling the production. RASHAMBA also promise to surprise their fans soon with an online-exclusive release!

Stay tuned for news on the official website and on the band's LJ Community.
