DIGIMORTAL have signed a deal to release their debut record — the album "Irreversibility." The disc will come out on the moscow-based label Sound Age Productions.

The album turned out to be incredibly diverse, yet it sounds like a cohesive whole. "Irreversibility" is a hard-hitting alloy of powerful guitar riffs, brutal drums, quality electronics, piercing bass, and varied vocals ranging from clean high notes to growls and screams. The album will appeal to fans of alternative metal as well as those who appreciate European-level production quality.

The band was formed in 2004 in moscow. During their early years, the musicians played numerous shows, including appearances alongside stars of the russian alternative scene. In 2006, the band shot their debut music video for the song "Belka i Strelka." The clip entered rotation on the First Alternative TV Channel A-ONE and was featured on a platform where it remained a ratings leader for an extended period. In early 2007, DIGIMORTAL began work on their debut album "Irreversibility." Demo versions of the songs were sent to renowned Danish metal producer Jacob Hansen, who had worked on albums by [AMATORY], Raunchy, HEAVEN SHALL BURN, Maroon, Volbeat, and more than 50 other acts from around the world. After listening, Jacob agreed to work with the band.

Upon completing work on "Irreversibility," Jacob Hansen wrote on his blog on October 4, 2007: "I just finished work on an album by the wonderful russian industrial metal band Digimortal. It is simply fantastic! Superb songs and wonderful ideas executed like razor cuts! I think these guys can compete with the very best in the world! Once again I am convinced that russian bands are very talented, but they don't get much attention outside of russia. In any case, I think they absolutely must do this album in English too, and let's see what happens!"

Also noteworthy is the fact that several European labels have indeed taken notice of the band, and English-language versions of tracks from "Irreversibility" are already in the works. The album's graphic design was executed at the highest level. The booklet concept was crafted by renowned designer Mike Zubique, giving the disc a distinctive, futuristic look and impeccable quality. Look for "Irreversibility" in music stores nationwide starting November 15 and stay tuned for upcoming concerts in your city.
