Young moscow-based band ANDEM is preparing a small sensation for the domestic heavy music scene — which has been lacking quality female vocals — in the form of their debut album, "Pendulum of Life." The group is currently completing work on the record alongside renowned German producer and sound engineer Andy Horn, who will finish the mastering at his studio, The Red Room, in the coming days. "We decided to turn to Andy specifically because he has experience working on albums by bands such as KING DIAMOND, DARKSEED, DISBELIEF, EDENBRIDGE, CORNERSTONE, and CAGE," say the ANDEM musicians. "And for the musical style of our debut, 'Pendulum of Life' — which can be described as melodic heavy/power metal featuring gentle female vocals with touches of male growling — it would have been hard to find a more worthy candidate! Especially considering that Andy was surprisingly easy to work with and agreed to help us, sparing us a lot of headaches and worries about sound quality at the very final stage." Even during the album's preparation, the band secured support from the Irond label, and the release is planned for spring.
