INEXIST Preparing to Enter the Studio

russian melodic death metal band INEXIST will begin recording their new album, tentatively titled "SATAN'S WORK," on March 4. Drums, bass, and guitars will be tracked at Dreamport, one of moscow's top studios, under the direction of Maxim Samosvat, who previously worked with the band on their album "Relax and Feel Free."

Here is what vocalist and bandleader Mr. Bredis had to say: "We've been writing material for the new album since July 2008. That's when new blood joined the band, which gave the songs even more technicality and speed. Already, based on the pre-production results, I can confidently say that this album will be a new milestone in INEXIST's body of work! This record will surpass its predecessors in every way, and there won't be even a hint of pop, alternative, or any other trendy crap! This will be real melodic death metal!"

The new album, like the previous full-length, is planned for release in two versions: English and russian. The band already has preliminary agreements for releasing the album both in the West and in the CIS, though the label names are being kept secret for now. The album is expected to drop in early fall 2009, with a single to be released beforehand.

The entire recording process will be filmed and periodically posted on YouTube and the band's VKontakte page.
