BEYOND THE BLACK have kicked off their "Rising High" European headline tour with a powerful opening show that previewed material from their new album "Break The Silence" alongside fan favorites. The German symphonic metal quintet, led by vocalist Jennifer Haben, delivered a setlist that balanced new tracks — including the LORD OF THE LOST collaboration "The Art Of Being Alone" and the LOVEBITES-featuring "Can You Hear Me" — with established hits from across their catalog.

The venue was packed to capacity, with fans traveling from across Germany and neighboring countries for the tour launch. The production featured an upgraded stage design with enhanced lighting rigs and expanded video screens that complemented the cinematic scope of the new material. The band opened with a dramatic orchestral intro before launching into one of their heavier new tracks, immediately setting an intense tone for the evening.

Social media reactions from attendees were overwhelmingly positive, praising the band's tightened live sound and Haben's commanding stage presence. Multiple fan accounts highlighted the emotional delivery of "Let There Be Rain," which incorporated pre-recorded choir elements from The Mystery of the Bulgarian Voices to stunning effect in the live setting. The rhythm section of bassist Tobias Lodes and drummer Kai Tschierschky drew particular praise for their locked-in, powerful performance.

Guitarists Chris Hermsdörfer and Jonas Roßner showcased the twin-guitar harmonies that have become a hallmark of the band's sound, with several new songs featuring extended instrumental passages that gave both players room to shine. The encore featured a three-song run of fan favorites that sent the crowd home elated. The tour continues across Germany, Austria, Switzerland, and the Netherlands through February, with additional dates being considered based on the strong opening-night response.
