New Orleans sludge metal legends CROWBAR and EYEHATEGOD have announced a co-headlining spring US tour, launching March 19 in Baton Rouge, Louisiana and wrapping April 18 in New Orleans with a triumphant and emotionally charged homecoming show in their beloved city. The month-long itinerary includes stops in Las Vegas, Los Angeles, Seattle, Denver, Nashville, Atlanta, and numerous other major markets across the country, bringing the unmistakable, crushing sound of Louisiana heavy music to stages from coast to coast throughout the spring season. A special highlight comes on April 17 in Atlanta, Georgia, where the reunited ACID BATH will make a guest appearance alongside both headliners, creating a historic and unprecedented triple bill of New Orleans sludge metal royalty that fans of the genre have dreamed about for decades. The cult sludge legends, whose two studio albums "When the Kite String Pops" and "Paegan Terrorism Tactics" are revered as genre-defining masterworks of extreme heaviness and dark Southern atmosphere, have made only sporadic live appearances since their long-awaited reformation, making this Atlanta date an absolutely unmissable event for devotees of Southern extreme music. On March 28 in Los Angeles, EYEHATEGOD will appear at C.Y. Fest without CROWBAR, providing fans on the West Coast an additional and valuable opportunity to catch the band in a different and more intimate festival setting alongside other underground heavy acts. Both CROWBAR's Kirk Windstein and EYEHATEGOD's Jimmy Bower have deep and intertwined roots in the New Orleans heavy music scene, with Bower having served as a member of both bands at various points throughout his storied career, underscoring the deep familial connections and genuine brotherhood that defines this remarkably tight-knit community. The tour celebrates decades of New Orleans sludge metal dominance, a movement that fundamentally reshaped extreme music worldwide through its groundbreaking fusion of hardcore punk, doom metal, and Southern blues-rooted heaviness. Tickets are on sale now through all major ticketing platforms.
