More details have emerged about the CROWBAR and EYEHATEGOD co-headlining spring US tour, revealing a special guest appearance by ACID BATH at the April 17 show in Atlanta, Georgia. The reunited cult sludge legends will join Kirk Windstein's CROWBAR and Jimmy Bower's EYEHATEGOD for what promises to be a truly historic night for Louisiana heavy music fans. The tour runs March 19 through April 18 across major US markets including Las Vegas, Los Angeles, Seattle, Denver, and Nashville, celebrating decades of New Orleans sludge metal dominance.

The Atlanta date stands out as the undisputed highlight of the entire trek. ACID BATH, whose two studio albums "When the Kite String Pops" and "Paegan Terrorism Tactics" remain sacred texts of sludge metal, have been extraordinarily selective about live appearances since their reunion. Sharing a stage with CROWBAR and EYEHATEGOD — the three bands that essentially built the Louisiana sludge metal sound from the ground up — creates an event of near-mythical proportions for devotees of the genre.

CROWBAR, led by the indomitable Kirk Windstein, continue to deliver punishing live sets anchored by crushing downtuned riffs and Windstein's unmistakable emotionally raw vocal delivery. EYEHATEGOD, meanwhile, bring their trademark noisy, feedback-drenched take on sludge that has influenced countless bands since the early 1990s. Jimmy Bower, who has played in both CROWBAR and EYEHATEGOD over the years, serves as a living bridge between the two groups.

The tour kicks off on home turf in Baton Rouge before snaking across the southern and western United States. Promoters report strong early ticket sales across all confirmed dates, with the Atlanta show expected to sell out rapidly once word spreads about the ACID BATH guest appearance. The tour wraps April 18 back in New Orleans, bringing the celebration full circle to the city where it all began.
