DAVID LEE ROTH has announced a massive 30-date North American solo tour for 2026, billed as "A Night With David Lee Roth." The trek launches April 16 in Airway Heights, Washington and concludes August 7 in Sturgis, South Dakota, covering a wide swath of the United States over nearly four months of touring that will hit amphitheaters, casinos, and outdoor festival grounds along the way. Roth ended a five-year hiatus from the stage in May 2025, debuting a new eight-piece band featuring a four-man vocal backing group at the M3 festival in Columbia, Maryland. That surprise appearance generated enormous buzz across the rock and metal community, with fans and critics praising the legendary frontman's renewed energy and showmanship that proved age has not dulled his legendary charisma one bit. The new touring band reportedly includes seasoned session musicians handpicked by Roth himself, delivering faithful renditions of VAN HALEN classics alongside deep cuts from his solo catalog including tracks from "Eat 'Em and Smile" and "Skyscraper." Ticket pre-sales begin January 6 at 10 AM local time, with public on-sale following January 9. Promoters expect demand to be exceptionally high, particularly in markets where Roth has not performed in over a decade. Roth, now 71, rose to fame as the original frontman of VAN HALEN, one of the most successful hard rock bands in history, selling over 80 million records worldwide. His flamboyant stage presence and acrobatic performances defined an era of arena rock throughout the 1980s that influenced countless performers who followed. After departing VAN HALEN in 1985, Roth launched a hugely successful solo career before multiple reunions with VAN HALEN over the ensuing decades. The 2026 tour marks one of the biggest hard rock touring announcements of the year and a triumphant return for one of rock's most iconic and beloved performers.
