LAMB OF GOD have announced their ninth studio album "Into Oblivion," due March 13 via Century Media and Epic Records, and simultaneously unleashed the crushing title track alongside a cinematic music video directed with visceral intensity. Produced and mixed by longtime collaborator Josh Wilbur at multiple locations including Richmond, Virginia and Total Access Studios in Redondo Beach, California, the ten-track album features previously released singles "Sepsis" and "Parasocial Christ," both of which showcased the band's unrelenting heaviness and groove metal mastery.

Vocalist Randy Blythe described the record as being about "the ongoing and rapid breakdown of the social contract," adding that the themes reflect a society spiraling into chaos and willful ignorance. The frontman's lyrics cut deep with sociopolitical commentary that has become a hallmark of LAMB OF GOD's work since their landmark 2003 album "As the Palaces Burn," which first established the Richmond quintet as one of American metal's most articulate and furious voices.

Guitarist Mark Morton, who tracked much of his work at his home studio, has spoken about the collaborative nature of the writing process, noting that the band pushed each other to explore new sonic territory while maintaining the crushing groove metal foundation that has defined their sound for over two decades. Willie Adler's guitar work on the album reportedly ventures into darker, more atmospheric textures than previous records, complementing Morton's razor-sharp riffing with haunting harmonic layers.

The album's cover art and visual direction were handled by designer Ken Adams, with band photography by Travis Shinn. A limited-edition zine containing 24 pages of hand-written lyrics by Blythe, never-before-seen studio photos, and Adams' original art sketches will accompany special editions of the physical release.

LAMB OF GOD will hit the road March 17 for a massive North American headlining tour with KUBLAI KHAN TX, FIT FOR AN AUTOPSY, and SANGUISUGABOGG in support. The band is also confirmed for Wacken Open Air 2026 and several other European summer festivals, ensuring a truly global campaign behind their strongest album in years.
