The Metal Hall of Fame is making final preparations for its 2026 bash, poised to take over the legendary Sunset Strip in West Hollywood tomorrow night, January 21. The ceremony promises to be one of the most star-studded events in the organization's history, honoring a class of inductees whose collective contributions helped define the sound and image of 1980s hard rock and heavy metal.

Hosted by veteran broadcaster Eddie Trunk and entertainment personality Cathy Rankin, the evening will induct Warren DeMartini of RATT, Chris Holmes of W.A.S.P., Tracii Guns of L.A. GUNS, Rikki Rockett of POISON, Gilby Clarke of GUNS N' ROSES, and beloved MTV Headbangers Ball host Riki Rachtman. Each inductee represents a distinct thread in the fabric of the Sunset Strip's golden era — a time when Los Angeles was the undisputed capital of hard rock and heavy metal worldwide.

The evening begins with a red carpet reception at the legendary Rainbow Bar & Grill from 6 p.m., where fans and industry figures will mingle with the inductees and other luminaries of the metal world. The venue itself is steeped in rock history, having served as a gathering place for everyone from Lemmy Kilmister to Ronnie James Dio over the decades. Following the reception, the official induction ceremony and All-Star Jam will take place at the Roxy Theater at 8 p.m.

The All-Star Jam is expected to feature surprise guest appearances from additional musicians connected to the inductees' storied careers. Rumors are swirling about possible appearances from members of WHITESNAKE, IMPELLITTERI, and other bands with deep ties to the Sunset Strip legacy. The event draws attention to the enduring cultural significance of the 1980s metal scene and its lasting influence on generations of musicians who followed.
