Milwaukee Metal Fest has announced major new additions to its 2026 lineup at The Rave/Eagles Ballroom, scheduled for June 5-7. The latest wave of confirmations further underscores the festival's unwavering commitment to assembling one of the most comprehensive and impressive extreme metal lineups anywhere in North America this year. DEATH ANGEL joins with a special Act III anniversary set, celebrating the 35th anniversary of their landmark 1990 album with a full front-to-back performance of the record alongside selected career highlights spanning their entire discography. The Bay Area thrash veterans' inclusion significantly strengthens an already formidable and imposing lineup. VIO-LENCE, the Bay Area thrash act led by guitarist Phil Demmel (ex-MACHINE HEAD), and the uniquely entertaining GREEN JELLY have also been added to the bill, further diversifying the festival's offerings across multiple subgenres and eras of heavy music. Later in January, NAPALM DEATH will be confirmed for two separate sets across the weekend, giving fans a rare and valuable opportunity to experience the legendary Birmingham grindcore pioneers in extended fashion with two distinctly different setlists. MACHINE HEAD, led by the imposing and charismatic Robb Flynn, will bring their groove-laden thrash metal assault to the proceedings with the kind of commanding live presence that has made them one of the genre's most compelling touring bands for over three decades. GENERATION KILL, featuring former EXODUS vocalist Rob Dukes delivering his trademark vocal ferocity, and rising Texas death metal act CREEPING DEATH round out the latest wave of additions, ensuring that every single corner of the extreme metal spectrum is thoroughly and impressively represented across all three days of the festival. Weekend passes remain available through the festival's official website, though organizers have cautioned that capacity limits may necessitate early cutoff of sales.
