BEHEMOTH Announce "The Godless IV" North American Tour with DEICIDE and ROTTING CHRIST

Polish blackened death metal juggernauts BEHEMOTH have announced "The Godless IV Tour," a 24-date North American spring headline run launching April 14 in San Diego and wrapping May 21 in Los Angeles. The support lineup reads like a who's who of extreme metal royalty: DEICIDE, ROTTING CHRIST, and IMMOLATION — four bands whose combined discography spans over a century of uncompromising brutality.

The trek marks BEHEMOTH's first North American tour in support of "The Shit Ov God," their thirteenth studio album released via Nuclear Blast. The record debuted at impressive chart positions worldwide and received widespread critical acclaim, with reviewers praising frontman Nergal's continued evolution as both a songwriter and provocateur. The album pushes BEHEMOTH's signature blend of blackened death metal into increasingly cinematic and orchestral territory while retaining the savage intensity that has defined them since their early days in Gdansk.

Nergal himself has been particularly active in 2026, separately announcing a special performance of BEHEMOTH's 1995 debut "Sventevith (Storming Near the Baltic)" at Norway's Beyond The Gates festival, where he will perform the album in full with Icelandic black metal collective MISTHYRMING rather than his BEHEMOTH bandmates — a testament to his restless creative energy.

The tour package represents exceptional value for extreme metal fans. DEICIDE bring decades of Floridian death metal savagery, ROTTING CHRIST offer their distinctive Greek black metal atmosphere, and IMMOLATION contribute their unique brand of dissonant, technical death metal. Festival stops at Welcome To Rockville and Sonic Temple are included in the routing. Tickets went on sale January 16 and have been moving briskly, with several dates already approaching sell-out status.
