BETWEEN THE BURIED AND ME have embarked on their UK and European tour in February, bringing the sprawling progressive compositions of their acclaimed 2025 album "The Blue Nowhere" to audiences across the continent. The North Carolina progressive metal titans, who have spent over two decades redefining the boundaries between extreme metal and avant-garde music, are playing their most ambitious live show to date.

"The Blue Nowhere," produced by Jamie King and mixed by Jens Bogren, represents a watershed moment in the BTBAM discography. It is the first album to feature extensive string and horn sections, adding new layers of orchestral depth to their already complex sonic palette. The record has been praised for its emotional range, seamlessly transitioning from brutal death metal passages to delicate acoustic interludes and lush symphonic movements within single tracks.

The European tour covers a wide range of venues, from intimate clubs to mid-sized theaters, giving fans in the UK, Germany, France, the Netherlands, and Scandinavia a chance to witness the new material in a live setting. Vocalist and keyboardist Tommy Giles Rogers Jr. has described the challenge of reproducing the album's orchestral elements on stage, noting that the band has incorporated backing tracks and expanded their live rig significantly.

Looking ahead, BETWEEN THE BURIED AND ME have announced a massive 31-date U.S. headline tour for May and June, with rotating support acts including IMPERIAL TRIUMPHANT and FALLUJAH. Tickets for the U.S. leg go on sale February 27, and early demand suggests many dates will sell out quickly given the band's fervent cult following.
