Swiss technical thrash metal pioneers CORONER are set to launch the "Dissonance Over The West" North American tour on February 4 at Swan Dive in Las Vegas. The 15-date trek features support from San Francisco Bay Area thrashers HEATHEN and runs through February 22 in Mesa, Arizona, bringing one of thrash metal's most criminally underrated bands back to American stages.

The tour supports CORONER's 2025 album "Dissonance Theory," released via Century Media Records. The record marked CORONER's first new studio material in over three decades, following 1993's "Grin," and its arrival was treated as a watershed moment by the thrash community. "Dissonance Theory" earned widespread critical acclaim for its complex arrangements, surgical precision, and the unmistakable chemistry between guitarist Tommy T. Baron, vocalist-bassist Ron Royce, and drummer Marky Edelmann.

CORONER formed in Zurich in 1985 and released five studio albums between 1987 and 1993, each one pushing the boundaries of what thrash metal could achieve technically and compositionally. Albums like "Mental Vortex" and "No More Color" are considered cornerstones of technical thrash, influencing generations of musicians from VEKTOR to REVOCATION. Their sudden hiatus in 1996 left a void that fans waited decades to see filled.

The pairing with HEATHEN is a natural fit, as both bands represent the cerebral end of thrash metal's spectrum. HEATHEN, led by guitarist Lee Altus (who also serves in EXODUS), bring their own legacy of sophisticated Bay Area thrash to the bill. The intimate club routing ensures fans will experience both bands in close quarters — a rarity for acts of this caliber.
