DETHKLOK Presale Launches with Brutal Demand for Spring Tour Tickets

DETHKLOK's presale for their spring 2026 U.S. headlining shows and "The Amonklok Conquest" co-headlining tour with AMON AMARTH has launched today with demand that can only be described as absolutely brutal. The Citi presale began at 10 a.m. PST, followed by the artist presale at 11 a.m. PST at dethkloklive.com using code BRUTAL, and multiple dates showed limited availability within the first hour of going live.

The headlining run kicks off April 26 at the Aragon Ballroom in Chicago, with additional standalone dates in Los Angeles, Seattle, Portland, and San Diego, while the co-headlining tour alongside AMON AMARTH and special guests CASTLE RAT launches April 15 and runs through May 21. General on-sale follows on February 20, though at this rate many venues may already be approaching capacity.

The fictional-turned-real metal act, created by multi-instrumentalist and vocalist Brendon Small for the Adult Swim animated series "Metalocalypse," has proven time and again that the line between cartoon and genuine musical force dissolved long ago. Small's guitar work -- heavily influenced by Scandinavian melodic death metal and technical thrash -- is performed live alongside legendary drummer Gene Hoglan, whose resume includes stints with DARK ANGEL, DEATH, STRAPPING YOUNG LAD, and TESTAMENT. The combination of Small's intricate compositions and Hoglan's thunderous precision behind the kit makes DETHKLOK one of the most musically legitimate "fictional" bands in heavy music history.

This spring's touring activity marks a celebration of 20 years since "Metalocalypse" first debuted on Adult Swim, introducing millions of viewers to the world of death metal through the absurdist adventures of Nathan Explosion and company. The show's cultural impact on metal fandom cannot be overstated -- it brought extreme music into mainstream pop culture consciousness while simultaneously paying genuine tribute to the genre's traditions and sonic extremity. The pairing with AMON AMARTH on "The Amonklok Conquest" promises a visually spectacular evening of Viking-themed melodic death metal theatrics alongside DETHKLOK's own elaborate stage production.
