KAMELOT Announce 2026 North American and European Headline Tours

American power metal stalwarts KAMELOT have announced extensive 2026 headline tours covering both North America and Europe, with tickets going on sale Friday, February 27 at 10:00 a.m. ET. The European leg will feature special guests EXIT EDEN, the symphonic metal supergroup featuring members of LEAVES' EYES, SERENITY, and VISIONS OF ATLANTIS, alongside support act TEMPERANCE, the Italian melodic metal outfit known for their powerful dual vocal attack.

KAMELOT have firmly established themselves as one of power metal's most consistently excellent and artistically ambitious live acts over their three-decade career. Founded in Tampa, Florida in 1991, the band has navigated multiple vocalist changes while maintaining an exceptionally high standard of songwriting and performance that few of their peers can match. Current frontman Tommy Karevik, who joined in 2012 following the departure of Norwegian vocalist Roy Khan, has proven himself a more than worthy successor with his soaring tenor and commanding, emotionally nuanced stage presence. His chemistry with founding guitarist Thomas Youngblood — whose intricate riffwork and melodic sensibilities form the very core of the KAMELOT sound — has produced some of the band's finest work to date.

The band's theatrical live shows continue to draw passionate and devoted crowds across the globe, blending symphonic power metal with cinematic production values that include elaborate lighting design, synchronized video elements, and the kind of dynamic setlists that skillfully balance beloved fan favorites with deep catalog cuts. Albums like "The Black Halo," "Haven," and "The Awakening" have given the band a rich and extensive catalog to draw from, ensuring that no two KAMELOT shows ever feel identical.

The 2026 touring cycle comes as the band is reportedly deep into work on a new studio album, their follow-up to 2023's critically acclaimed "The Awakening." While no official announcement has been made regarding the record's title or release date, the extensive touring schedule suggests that new material may debut in a live setting before any studio release — a strategy that KAMELOT have employed successfully in the past to gauge fan reactions and refine arrangements before committing them to tape.
