TRIUMPH's highly anticipated reunion tour -- their first in over 30 years -- has seen ticket sales exceed all expectations, confirming that the appetite for classic Canadian hard rock remains as voracious as ever. Guitarist Rik Emmett revealed that Live Nation is "beside themselves happy" with the overwhelming response from fans across North America. Dubbed "The Rock & Roll Machine Reloaded," the 50th anniversary tour launches April 22 in Sault Ste. Marie, Ontario, and closes out June 6 at the Leader Bank Pavilion in Boston, visiting 24 markets across 10 Canadian and 14 American cities.

The staggering demand has already prompted expansion. Just one month after announcing the tour, the band added a second show in Boston after the first date sold out almost immediately, and moved their Chicago show to a larger venue to accommodate the flood of ticket requests. Special guest APRIL WINE -- fellow Canadian rock legends behind classics like "Roller" and "I Like To Rock" -- will support on all dates, creating an all-Canadian powerhouse package that celebrates the golden era of North American arena rock.

The expanded six-piece touring lineup features core members Emmett on guitar and vocals and drummer/vocalist Gil Moore alongside Phil X -- the guitar virtuoso known for his touring work with BON JOVI as Richie Sambora's replacement -- on guitar, Brent Fitz on drums and keys, and Todd Kerns on bass. Original bassist Mike Levine, the band's third founding member, will appear at selected shows throughout the run. Moore confirmed that he and Emmett "will be playing all the way through every show," ensuring that the heart and soul of TRIUMPH remains fully intact.

TRIUMPH were one of Canada's biggest and most beloved rock exports during the late 1970s and 1980s, with anthems like "Lay It On The Line," "Magic Power," "Fight The Good Fight," "Allied Forces," and "Hold On" becoming arena staples that soundtracked a generation. Their reunion represents a full-circle moment for a band whose influence on Canadian rock music is immeasurable.
