After the stacked releases of March 13, the next significant date on the calendar is March 20, which brings two more eagerly awaited albums to the table.
EXODUS — Goliath (Napalm Records): The thrash legends' 12th studio album, featuring the return of vocalist Rob Dukes and guest appearances from Peter Tägtgren and violinist Katie Jacoby. Produced entirely in-house, mixed and mastered by Mark Lewis. The band will be mid-way through their European run with KREATOR, CARCASS, and NAILS when the record drops.
GAEREA — Loss (Century Media Records): The Portuguese post-black metal collective's fifth album is their most melodically ambitious yet, following four singles that have showcased an evolution in their sound. The masked outfit recorded at Demigod Recordings with Miguel Teroso.
Both records have been building anticipation for months and represent the best of what the extreme metal underground is producing in early 2026.
