ARCH ENEMY Make Live Debut with New Vocalist Lauren Hart in Beijing

ARCH ENEMY took the stage in Beijing, China on March 27, performing their first concert with Lauren Hart as lead vocalist. Hart, previously the frontwoman of Los Angeles groove/death metal outfit ONCE HUMAN, stepped into the role vacated by Alissa White-Gluz, who departed the band in late 2024 after a decade.

The Beijing setlist covered material from across the band's career, with Hart reportedly delivering commanding performances on signature tracks including "Heart of Darkness," "War Eternal," and "Will to Power." The show also featured the live debut of "To the Last Breath," a new single released earlier this year which has been embraced by fans as a strong indicator of the band's direction under Hart.

Guitarist and creative leader Michael Amott commented via the band's socials: "Beijing, you made Lauren's debut unforgettable. The energy was electric and we cannot wait to bring this show to more cities."

Hart's addition addresses comparisons to the White-Gluz era directly. Her voice brings a raw, lower-registered power that contrasts with her predecessor's operatic approach, while her stage presence — developed through years fronting ONCE HUMAN — appears commanding from opening footage.

ARCH ENEMY have confirmed a European summer club tour in 2026 and are expected to announce further dates throughout the spring. The band remains one of melodic death metal's most commercially successful acts, and fan reception to Hart's debut has been widely positive across social media.
