ARCHSPIRE have delivered "Red Goliath," the third and final single from their upcoming album Too Fast to Die, due April 10, 2026. Like its predecessors "Carrion Ladder" and "Limb of Leviticus," the track arrives as a blinding showcase of technical death metal played at speeds that defy comprehension — but with a melodic intelligence that elevates it beyond pure athletic display.
Too Fast to Die will be the Vancouver quintet's fifth studio album and, notably, their first released completely independently. Having previously operated under Season of Mist, the band made the deliberate move to own their masters and manage their releases directly — a significant vote of confidence in their fanbase and in the infrastructure they've built over their decade-plus career.
The album marks another evolution in the band's signature sound: the dense, hyper-articulated guitar work of Tobi Morelli and Dean Lamb sits at the center, supported by the machine-precision drumming of Spencer Moore (who joined as new drummer in 2025) and bassist Jared Smith's low-end anchor. Vocalist Oliver Rae Aleron continues to develop his inhuman rapid-fire delivery, one of the most distinctive voices in modern extreme metal.
Archspire spent 2025 writing and recording this album between North American tour runs, and the tightness of the material reflects that sustained momentum. Earlier singles suggest that Too Fast to Die may be their most focused and consistent record to date.
The album is available for pre-order now. Archspire are confirmed for several major festivals in summer 2026.
