Pennsylvania metalcore veterans AUGUST BURNS RED have announced their 11th studio album, 'Season of Surrender', set for release on June 5 via Fearless Records. The announcement comes with the premiere of lead single "The Nameless," available with an official lyric video.

The follow-up to 2023's 'Death Below' marks a conscious return to the band's heavier roots. Vocalist Jake Luhrs stated: "This album is rooted in traditional August Burns Red and I think it's the heaviest album we've written in a long time."

'Season of Surrender' contains 11 tracks and boasts an exceptional lineup of guest contributors: Mike Hranica of THE DEVIL WEARS PRADA appears on the opener "Legions," Jamie Hails of POLARIS features on "Sonic Salvation," and MAKE THEM SUFFER contributes to "Cerebral Malfunction." The full tracklist is: Legions (feat. Mike Hranica), The Nameless, Behemoth, Den of Thieves, Sonic Salvation (feat. Jamie Hails), Cerebral Malfunction (feat. Make Them Suffer), Tear of the Clouds, Whispers Like Splinters, S.O.S., New Horizons, and Forged by Failure.

The album was produced by the band's longtime collaborator, and promises to deliver the technical riffing, polyrhythmic breakdowns, and melodic sensibility that have defined the band since their breakthrough with 'Messengers' in 2007.

To support the release, AUGUST BURNS RED will hit the road on a co-headline North American tour alongside THE AMITY AFFLICTION this April and May.
